There are several Crown land lots on the Sudbury Forest available for the public to harvest their own fuelwood for the duration of the 2020 to 2030 Forest Management Plan
Fuelwood permits are issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Some helpful information:
1 bush cord = 4 ft by 8 ft by 4 ft
1 face cord = 16 in by 8 ft by 4 ft
1 bush cord = 3 face cords
1 bush cord = 2.4 m3
